PKO Bank Polski and Banca Transilvania conclude an agreement supporting enterprises operating between Poland and Romania. Banks intend to mutually refer customers looking for a financial partner who knows the local market, regulations and business practices.
The cooperation complements the activities of the corporate branch PKO BP in Bucharest, developed from 2025. The bank indicates the importance of Romania for Polish exporters: in the last year, Poland is the fifth largest supplier of goods to this market, with exports worth EUR 8.3 billion.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Romanian bank in Cluj-Napoca. The announcement of October 28, 2026 presents a specific stage of development of the foreign cooperation network, and not a general analysis of exports. The partnership is intended to make it easier for entrepreneurs to build banking relationships in both countries. It does not mean a common, automatically available credit line or a uniform financing price for all companies interested in expansion.
