The Polish Financial Supervision Authority informs on July 7, 2026 about the registration of Swiss Credit Support sp. z o.o. from Gdańsk to the list of public warnings. At the same time, the Office sends a notification to the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk. The case concerns the suspicion of conducting business without the required entry in the register of lending institutions.
The communication indicates art. 59h of the Consumer Credit Act. The described violation may result in a fine of up to PLN 500,000. zloty. Providing the amount of the penalty does not mean that such a penalty has already been imposed on the company. The publication talks about the supervisor's action and notification, not about a final decision on liability.
This is an important distinction for people checking the entity offering financing. The warning list and the register of lending institutions have different roles: the warning message does not replace the analysis of the registration data or the terms of the proposed contract. The July entry specifies the date of the event described; the further course of the case requires separate information from the authorities.
