The Polish Financial Supervision Authority allows VeloBank to conduct brokerage activities

The Polish Financial Supervision Authority grants VeloBank consent to conduct brokerage activities. The bank announces the completion of the approximately six-month licensing process. The permit is a stage of preparation for the launch of its own office, planned in the announcement for mid-2026, after the completion of the takeover of the retail part of Citi Handlowy.

The announced offer includes instruments from the WSE and access to foreign markets via the trading platform. The strategy also provides for structured products and the development of investment consulting, including in the area of foreign ETFs. The solutions are intended to complement retail services and private banking.

The March 9 message concerns obtaining the required regulatory approval. It does not constitute a confirmation that all services described are already available to customers on the date of its publication. The bank presents them as part of the planned extension of the offer; the scope of actual service depends on subsequent implementations and rules for using investment products.
