BLIK users completed 822 million transactions worth PLN 131.8 billion in the third quarter of 2026. Transaction numbers increased 10 per cent year on year, while their value rose 17 per cent. The figures have been released by the system’s operator, Polski Standard Płatności.
Online shopping remains the largest transaction channel. Between July and September, customers made 384.3 million online payments worth PLN 64 billion. The average online payment was PLN 167. Spending grew faster than transaction numbers, indicating a change in the average purchase amount as well.

Transfers to phone numbers reached 206.5 million, up 11 per cent from a year earlier. Their average value was PLN 187. Contactless payments accounted for almost 47 per cent of BLIK transactions at physical-store terminals. Since its introduction, the contactless function has been activated by 4.1 million users.
The system had 21.9 million active users at the end of September, compared with 21.6 million in June. Recurring payments also increased, reaching 2.9 million during the quarter. The figures describe actual use over a completed reporting period. They do not introduce identical features in every banking app or a new credit offer: available functions continue to depend on the customer’s bank.
