Visa has demonstrated My Agent in Warsaw, showing how an AI assistant can take a customer from a shopping request to a card payment. The system searches for suitable products, presents options and progresses through ordering. The demonstration uses real shops and existing payment infrastructure.
The customer sets the limits of the instruction and approves the purchase using biometrics. The assistant can also help arrange delivery. The demonstration connects a conversation about a product with checkout, reducing the need to navigate each stage of a conventional online shopping basket.

Banks, payment companies and merchants participate in the project. Partners include PKO Bank Polski, mBank, Millennium, Credit Agricole, Nest Bank, PayPo, Autopay, PayU and Przelewy24. Participating retailers include Empik, MegaDron and Tortli. The tests examine how the technology works with services that are already operating.
The 3 November presentation does not launch an app for all customers. Visa is developing infrastructure for other providers rather than announcing its own consumer shopping chatbot. Wider customer use is expected in 2027, with availability depending on the services introduced by individual banks and retailers.
